Magnolia

Magnolia is a family residential area of varying socioeconomic levels — everything from apartments to rambling Victorians in the grip of Haven’s version of high society. The great commonality is the magnolia trees for which the district is named, their glossy deep green leaves shading almost every lawn and littering the sidewalks most all the time. Garden Grove, the subdivision in which Elm Street runs, is a mishmash of single-family homes; about half of them look like they were built in the 60s, the other half about ten years ago.
